Speech rate and pitch are correctly handled, so espeak on android sounds like it does on the desktop. Pitch, base pitch and volume are configurable as percentages. Target audience are developers who would like to use espeak ng asis for speech synthesis in their python application on gnulinux operating systems. The espeak ng is a compact open source software texttospeech synthesizer for linux, windows, android and other operating systems. It is utilised on windows, linux and mac, and has been ported to android as well. The espeak variant can be selected, including the nvda voice variants. Merged the android port into the main espeak ng codebase. Extend compilephoneme to support specifying the source directory for phoneme files. To get other versions of espeak, or use other mirrors, use the sourceforge download page. Support using any directory as the data home, not just espeak ngdata. Includes different voices, whose characteristics can be altered. This project aims to use crowdsourcing to improve the pronunciation of farsi words in espeak.
